I am buying a set of your rims; what length spoke nipple do you recommend when building your Carbon rims? Thank you.

LightBicycle 2018/08/28

Hi Lane, Have you settled the hubs for your wheelset yet? I would need to learn more about your setup to calculate the spoke length. 1. Hub model 2. Lacing pattern 3. Rim model or ERD Thanks, Lightbicycle

What is the price for a pair of 32 hole 60mm matte Carbon clincher rims? Thanks

Light-Bicycle 2016/07/08

Hi Kevin, Thanks for your inquiry. There are 2 kinds of road rims here currently. One is V shape with 23mm outer width(old design) and the second one is U shape with 25mm outer width(new design). The U shape rim will be more durable and stronger than the V shape rim. I recommend you U shape rim. Please find the attached cross-section drawing of the rims. Thanks, Light-bicycle

Do I request a number of spoke holes when I place my order?

Light-Bicycle 2015/07/06

Hello Derek, Thanks for your inquiry. Yes, you need to choose the spoke count when you placed the order, then we will arrange manufacturing accordingly. We can manufacture from 16H to 36H. Which do you prefer? RR60C02 (23mm wide 60mm clincher rim): 530 /-15g, USD175/pcs Please find attached rim profile. For rim weave, do you prefer 3k, 12k or UD? Matte or glossy? Please find below link. http://www.flickr.com/photos/light-bicycle/sets/72157631432948364/detail/ Currently, we also have new 25mm wide U-shaped 55mm clincher rim. It is much wider and stronger. Would you like to have a try? It is USD178/pcs. Thanks, Light-bicycle

Does the braking surface need carbon brake pads?

Light-Bicycle 2014/05/21

Hello Mervin, Thanks for your inquiry. Please find the attached cross-section drawing of the 23mm wide 60mm clincher rim. For the rims, do you prefer UD, 3k or 12k? Matte or glossy? Front 20H/rear 24H? http://www.flickr.com/photos/light-bicycle/sets/72157631432948364/detail/ If you want to use the rims for V-brake, it needs carbon brake pads. I recommend you the cork wood brake pads. Other brake pads(specifically designed for carbon rims) are also OK. Thanks, Light-bicycle

what do you mean by max tyre pressure and Cycling tyre pressure ?! would I be able to use tires with recommended pressure 110 - 145 psi with these 60 mm rims??!

Light-Bicycle 2013/11/14

Hello Dave, The max tyre pressure means the tyre can’t stand the pressure more than 160psi. If you’d like to keep the rim and tyre in good condition, then we recommend you the tyre pressure around 120psi while riding. Please find the attached cross-section drawing of the wide 60mm clincher rim. For the rims, do you prefer UD ,3k or 12k? Matte or glossy? Fornt 20H/rear 24H? Thanks, Light-bicycle
