The front hub needs to have a 20mm thru axle and the rear needs to be 12X142mm. I like the look of the Rotaz hubs but I do not know if the Rotaz is better then the Novatec. You see I want to have a fast race set (carbon) and a set for training (my standard hubs). The 30mm width rim is much stronger and their weights are almost the same.Which one do you prefer? Please find cross-section drawings & attached pictures. For the rim, do you like UD, 3K or 12K? Hi, I'm looking for a very light weight, race day, 29er mountain bike wheelset. What's the lightest wheelset you could make that would be acceptable for an 88 kg rider? I would only be using the wheelset for XC races, and would run the wheelset with 2.00" or 2.10" tires. I still want the wheels to ride properly so i'd need a relatively stiff wheelset.What rim type, hubs, and spokes would you recommend for this purpose? And prices would be great too!
