Hello, can you send pictures of the 12k glossy rim?

LightBicycle 2017/02/13

Hello Justin, Thanks for your inquiry. Please find attached picture of the rims weave. 3k/12k/UD are the 3 choices for cosmetic appearance. The rim strength & weight is virtually identical. 3k matte & UD matte are more popular. Here is a link to help you choose which you prefer. http://www.light-bicycle.com/the-3k-12k-ud-carbon-fiber-weave-for-rim-and-frame.html Thanks, Lightbicycle

Jean-Michel 2013/10/09

Hi! I intend to use the freewheels and rays of my Dura Ace C24CL wheels with your road/cyclocross rims in 38mm. I have 2 questions: Will the Dura Ace rays fit? Also, there is 16 rays at front and 20 at back on the C24CL. I weight around 82 Kg, sometimes a bit less. Is the amount of rays enough for your rims? On the Dura Ace wheels it is plenty enough as ther are very strurdy. But what about your rims durability? Thanks a lot!

Light-Bicycle 2013/10/10

Hello Jean, Thanks for your inquiry. For our 38mm tubular rim, it is with 23mm wide, and it is pretty strong. You like front 16H/ rear 20H, correct? What is your weight? Then i can check whether it is strong enough fory our weight. Normally, it is front 20H/rear 24H. If you are not a large rider, it is ok to manufacture front 16H/ rear 20H. Thanks, Light-bicycle

J

Jean-Michel 2013/10/10

Hi Nancy, Thanks ! I am sure it is not strong enough for me, I weight around 82Kg, /- 2 Kg. To tell you the truth, I have revised what I want, and was about to order a 50mm 28h rear rim, along with a 38mm 28h front rim. I want to be sure they will last and stay true. I am a pretty powerful sprinter, and roads here are often not really smooth! Do you think that will be strong enough for me? I will also need length of rays needed.neeneeneeded! To tell you the truth, I have revised what I want, and was about to order a 50mm 32h rear rim, along with a 38mm 28h front wheel. That may be overkill, but I want to be sure they will last and stay true. I am a pretty powerfull sprinter, and roads here are often not really smooth! Please tell me if 38mm 28h front/ 50mm 32h rear is too much, and if 38mm 24h front/ 50mm 28h rear will be sturdy enough for me! Thank you very much, J-Michel

Light-Bicycle 2013/10/11

Hello Jean, My suggestion is front 24H 38mm/ rear 28H 50mm. It will be strong enough. Thanks, Light-bicycle

Richie 2013/08/04

Hi there Sorry, was wrong in last message. 28 spokes front and 32 rear! Thanks Richie

Light-Bicycle 2013/08/05

Hello Richie, Thanks for your inquiry. For Novatec A291/F482 hubs, we only have front 20/rear 24. And we have Novatec A171/F172 hubs with front 28/rear 28, or front 32/rear 32. Is it ok for you? You can let us know which hub you prefer, then we can build the 38mm tubular accordingly. Do you like 3k/12k/UD for rims? glossy finish or matte? Thanks, Light-bicycle
